If you’re having trouble starting your boat or watercraft, or if you’re not experiencing the running time you used to get with trolling motors or electronics, then you may be due for battery replacement. We have replacement batteries for all marine starting, deep cycle, and electronics applications as well as products to meet all your battery related needs, including AC and solar-powered battery chargers, and inverter/chargers; regulators and isolators to control battery charging from the alternator; cables and mounting hardware; and accessories like terminals, remote panels and temperature sensors.

Two kinds of batteries have traditionally been needed for marine use, batteries that could supply the cranking power to reliably start engines, and batteries that could supply power for long periods without recharging, for trolling motors and to power electronic accessories. Instead of making you choose between a starting and a deep cycle battery we can offer you batteries that combine the best of both worlds. These batteries pack pure lead plates with more surface area into the case for exceptional cranking power and longer cycle life. They’re maintenance free, vibration resistant, and will never leak.

In addition to the above we also have replacement batteries for underwater viewing systems, ice fishing packs and other electronic devices. Like our dual purpose starting/deep cycle batteries, these batteries are maintenance-free and of non-spillable design. The best way to ensure you get long service life from your batteries is with proper maintenance and keeping them fully charged. Since our batteries are maintenance-free you never need to add water, and because they are classified non-spillable, you don’t have to be concerned with electrolyte leaking or out-gassing that can cause cable and terminal corrosion. A battery should be brought back to proper charge level after discharge as soon as possible to prevent sulfation, which can shorten battery life, and we have the chargers for the job.

We have battery charger models appropriate for AGM (Absorbed Glass Mat), gel cell, and flooded cell lead-acid batteries. Our selection includes inexpensive portable AC powered maintenance chargers, battery maintainers that remain connected to the battery, solar-powered chargers, and panel-style, permanently mounted chargers that can safely charge multiple battery banks. We also offer inverter chargers that can charge batteries when connected to AC power at the dock, but also convert DC power to AC to operate common household current powered electronics. We have modified sine wave inverter/chargers that are fine for running lights, electric heaters and similar devices, as well as pure sine wave inverter/chargers necessary for operating more sensitive electronics.

When the boat’s engine is running, the alternator charges the battery. Boats commonly have one battery for starting and one or more additional batteries for powering electrical accessories. Battery isolators and automatic charging relays ensure that all batteries receive current for charging, but isolate the batteries when discharging so a weak battery won’t draw down a fully charged battery. This way a depleted auxiliary battery won’t deprive the starting battery of the cranking power necessary to start the engine. We have a large selection of isolators and automatic charging relays in various amperages and for different numbers of batteries. You’ll also find all the other marine battery necessities on our digital shelves including battery boxes and trays, and battery cables and terminals.
