When it comes to painting a boat and protecting its surface, the modern market offers numerous solutions developed using the latest achievements of modern chemistry. Actually, solvents get improved along with paints and lacquers, and now, their formulations are more effective than ever. Some paint manufacturers divide solvents into two basic groups – thinners and reducers. The former are meant for lacquer-based coatings, while the latter are utilized with urethane-based paints.
