A washdown system is an effective means allowing you to keep your boat's deck clean. Whether you need to remove mud, wash off fish scales, or rinse away other contaminants, pressurized raw water supplied through a hoses and nozzle can be exactly what you need to clean up the deck. You can choose from numerous washdown pumps and powerful booster systems that can be powered by DC 12 or 24V or AC 115/230. Virtually all of them feature special solutions depending on their type and application, such as protection against thermal overloading, dry running, etc. As for booster setups, they normally include a pump, pre-pressurized accumulator tank, strainer, and some other components; such a system can serve four or more outlets for use on larger boats. Many models provide variable GPM, which can be helpful when powerful thrust is not required.
